Etiquette on the water

by Chad on Jun 16, 2011

With the recent events at the Bassmaster Elite event "Diamond Drive" in Little Rock between Denny Brauer and Jonathon VanDam. What are some of your thoughts about this topic and Etiquette on the water and who do you think was wrong between Denny and JVD? I was a Marshall there for 3 days and was able to witness most of the battle along with alot of feedback from other pro anglers about this topic. I just wanted to know how people felt about it on here. Thanks.

I fish a few tournaments as co-angler, and have limited input on the subject, but if you know that you are in someone's water other than your own and you know it, I think you should leave and if you get in the unfortunate situation where the other guys pulls up on his spot where you are sitting, I would think it would be common courtesy to leave that area alone and maybe fish it another time when the two aren't competing against each other. Like I said above, I don't have a boat and have limited input, but I know when to leave another person's spot alone.
