Very happy to be involved with the pro-staff.Met the owners of MO Bass ,2 quality guys so was a nobrainer when we talked about joing.We all need to get more sponsors for the Web site because they have alot to gain with the exposure.Of all of the sites i see this one has alot more info, Fishing is great, but made big mistake last tournament .Hope you learn from my mistake: Had limit by10 ,culled all day but only by ounces.Caught most fish on crankbaits and Jewell Jigs with Zoom Speed Craw,Was fishing paralell to the bank swiming speed craw in shallow water , water was muddy so the white craw must have been going over beds and they were killing it. Ran to James then back and back again trying to get kicker, got i mile from way in swithed tanks and realized i had loaned my boat to neighbor to take his preacher fishing and no gas in other tank. First place shot, 3 lb deduction for 3 min late, had it won easy droped me to second. Had almost 11 lbs Not real smart for someone who fishes so much ,never assune your back up tank has gas if you loan your boat out, the money that cost me would have filled the tank many times

Typical fishing this time of year,awesome.Wanted to try something different used finesse worm dipped in garlic on a small slider head with 6 lb test just for the fight,what a blast.Want to take a kid fishing or older person who can use a spinning reel they can do this and enjoy thereselves without getting bored. If you dont have a boat this is the best time to walk the banks.My neighbor caught 9 keepers around the long creek boat docks.I told him to use a fluke or zara spook cause you cant get a boat back there because of the cables.He did it and next day told me it was the best time he has had fishing.Fish were loaded up on inside of docks moving in to spawn.Alot of them were kentuckys but some blacks all good fish. Get out dog days be here soon ,will have to drop shot but thats ok to.
