Fishing for Freedom events are hosted by the Leavenworth Bass Club, Leavenworth, Kansas. I have participated in all of them, The first year (2009), I volunteered to back vehicles and weigh in Fish. The second year I took a soldier on the water and he had a wonderful time and caught alot of fish and even weighed in Fish. This year Itook a soldier on the water and he had a great time. We both caught fish and the soldier was able to catch a keeper and weigh it in on the scales. This event is one of the most satisfying events I have encountered.
